Sharing Resources With the Christian Community

FishNet Resources provides a place for Christians, churches, ministries, organizations, educators, missionaries, speakers, musicians, authors, professionals, and others to share opportunities, resources, services, events, and information with the Christian community.

We want FishNet Resources to remain useful, trustworthy, welcoming, and safe. By submitting a listing, announcement, opportunity, event, resource, image, video, link, or other content to FishNetResources.com, you agree to the following Submission Terms.

1. Submit Accurate Information

All submissions should be truthful, accurate, and presented in good faith.

You may not intentionally misrepresent:

  • Your identity or organization
  • Employment or ministry opportunities
  • Products or services
  • Qualifications or credentials
  • Speaking or performance experience
  • Prices, compensation, or financial arrangements
  • Events, locations, dates, or availability
  • Church, ministry, school, college, or organizational affiliations

If circumstances change, please update or remove your listing when appropriate.

2. Submit to the Appropriate Category

Please select the category that most accurately represents your submission.

FishNet Resources includes categories for ministry employment, individuals seeking employment, seminars, books, worship songs, church items, missionaries, sermons, audio messages, Christian architects and builders, Christian artwork, speakers, singers and bands, Christian schools and colleges, Bible studies, concerts, events, videos, and other Christian resources.

FishNet Resources may move a submission to a more appropriate category when necessary.

3. Christian-Focused Content

FishNet Resources is designed primarily to connect and serve the Christian community.

Submissions should have a reasonable relationship to Christian ministry, churches, Christian organizations, faith-based services, Christian media, education, music, employment, missions, events, resources, or community needs.

We recognize that Christians represent many denominations, traditions, ministries, and theological perspectives. Publication of a submission does not mean that FishNet Resources endorses or agrees with the theology, doctrine, opinions, practices, products, services, or organizations represented in that submission.

4. Respectful Content

We ask everyone submitting content to communicate respectfully.

Submissions may not contain material that is threatening, harassing, defamatory, deliberately deceptive, hateful, obscene, sexually explicit, or intended to intimidate or harm another person or group.

Disagreement is not automatically inappropriate. However, FishNet Resources is intended to connect people and share resources rather than provide a platform for personal attacks or hostile disputes.

5. Employment and Ministry Opportunities

Job and ministry opportunity listings should accurately describe the position, organization, location, responsibilities, and important qualifications whenever possible.

Those submitting opportunities are responsible for complying with applicable employment and nondiscrimination laws, including any laws or exemptions that may apply to churches and religious organizations.

FishNet Resources does not verify or guarantee employers, applicants, compensation, working conditions, credentials, or employment opportunities.

Both organizations and applicants should conduct appropriate independent screening and due diligence before entering into an employment or ministry relationship.

6. Resumes and Seeking Employment

Individuals submitting resumes, biographies, portfolios, or “Seeking Employment” listings are responsible for deciding what personal information they make publicly available.

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you do not publish highly sensitive information such as:

  • Social Security numbers
  • Driver’s license numbers
  • Bank or financial account information
  • Passwords
  • Copies of identification documents
  • Other confidential personal information

Remember that information included in a public listing may be viewed by visitors to the website.

7. Items for Sale or Items Wanted

Listings for church items, equipment, artwork, books, or other goods must accurately describe what is being offered or sought.

Sellers are responsible for the condition, ownership, pricing, delivery, warranties, and legality of items they offer.

Buyers and sellers are responsible for making their own arrangements regarding payment, shipping, pickup, inspection, returns, and other transaction details.

FishNet Resources is not a party to transactions arranged between users unless expressly stated otherwise.

8. Speakers, Singers, Bands and Bookings

Speakers, singers, musicians, bands, worship leaders, and other individuals offering services should accurately represent their experience, availability, qualifications, recordings, photographs, fees, and affiliations.

Churches and organizations seeking speakers or performers should likewise provide accurate information concerning the event and expectations.

FishNet Resources does not guarantee bookings, performances, attendance, payment, suitability, or the outcome of any arrangement made through a listing.

9. Missionary and Ministry Listings

Missionaries and ministry organizations are welcome to share appropriate information about their work, needs, projects, and opportunities.

Any fundraising requests, donation appeals, or financial representations must be truthful and lawful.

Users considering financial support for a missionary, ministry, project, or organization should independently investigate the organization and determine how contributions will be used before donating.

10. Schools, Colleges and Educational Resources

Christian schools, colleges, Bible studies, seminars, training programs, and other educational organizations are responsible for accurately representing their programs, credentials, costs, accreditation status, schedules, instructors, and affiliations.

Publication on FishNet Resources does not constitute accreditation, certification, approval, or endorsement of an educational institution or program.

11. Books, Music, Sermons, Audio and Videos

You may only submit or link to books, music, sermons, recordings, photographs, artwork, videos, written materials, and other creative works that you own or have permission to use.

Do not upload or distribute copyrighted material belonging to another person without appropriate authorization.

When submitting content created by someone else, you are responsible for obtaining any permissions necessary for its use.

12. Photographs and Images

Images should accurately relate to the listing.

By uploading an image, you represent that you own the image, have permission to use it, or otherwise have the legal right to publish it.

Images containing pornography, explicit sexual material, graphic violence, unlawful content, intentionally deceptive imagery, or material that violates another person’s rights are prohibited.

13. Links and External Websites

Listings may contain links to websites or online resources when permitted by FishNet Resources.

Submitted links should lead to legitimate, relevant destinations.

Do not submit links intended to distribute malware, collect information deceptively, redirect visitors to inappropriate content, conduct phishing schemes, or otherwise compromise users’ privacy or security.

FishNet Resources is not responsible for the content, security, availability, or practices of third-party websites.

14. Spam and Duplicate Listings

Please do not repeatedly submit identical or substantially similar listings for the purpose of gaining additional exposure.

Submissions consisting primarily of spam, excessive advertising, irrelevant keywords, misleading titles, or repetitive promotional material may be rejected or removed.

15. Prohibited Submissions

FishNet Resources does not permit submissions involving:

  • Fraud or intentional deception
  • Illegal goods, services, or activities
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Threats or encouragement of violence
  • Malicious software or phishing

  • Impersonation of another person or organization
  • Knowingly false employment or ministry opportunities
  • Spam or mass solicitation unrelated to the purpose of FishNet Resources
  • Content that we reasonably determine presents a significant risk to users or the integrity of the community

16. Submission Review and Approval

Submitting content does not guarantee publication.

FishNet Resources may review submissions before they appear publicly on the website.

We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, recategorize, suspend, expire, or remove submissions when reasonably necessary to maintain the quality, relevance, safety, and purpose of FishNet Resources.

Minor formatting or categorization adjustments may be made without notice. We will not intentionally change the fundamental meaning of a submission.

17. Your Rights to Submitted Content

You retain ownership of original content that you submit.

By submitting content to FishNet Resources, you grant FishNet Resources a non-exclusive permission to host, display, reproduce, resize, format, distribute, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote FishNet Resources and its listings.

For example, a listing or image may be displayed on category pages, search results, featured sections, email communications, or FishNet Resources promotional channels.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to grant this permission.

18. No Endorsement

Approval or publication of a submission does not constitute an endorsement by FishNet Resources.

Users should independently evaluate churches, ministries, employers, applicants, missionaries, speakers, musicians, schools, colleges, organizations, products, services, events, teachings, and other opportunities before becoming involved.

19. Reporting Concerns

If you encounter a listing that appears fraudulent, misleading, inappropriate, outdated, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Submission Terms, please contact FishNet Resources.

We appreciate your help in maintaining a useful and trustworthy Christian resource community.

20. Removal of Content

FishNet Resources reserves the right to remove content that violates these terms or is otherwise inappropriate for the purpose of the website.

Repeated violations may result in restrictions on future submissions or suspension or termination of the associated account.

21. Acceptance of Submission Terms

By submitting a listing or other content to FishNetResources.com, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Submission Terms as well as any other applicable FishNet Resources terms and policies.
