FishNet Resources exists to help connect Christians, churches, ministries, artists, speakers, musicians, missionaries, educators, organizations, and others who are seeking or offering resources within the Christian community.
By creating an account, submitting a listing, or otherwise using FishNetResources.com, you agree to the following Registration Terms.
1. Account Registration
You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for activity conducted through your account.
You may not create an account using false information, impersonate another person or organization, or intentionally misrepresent your identity, ministry, business, qualifications, products, or services.
2. Purpose of FishNet Resources
FishNet Resources is a Christian-focused resource and listing community designed to help people connect regarding opportunities and resources including ministry employment, Christian education, books, music, speakers, missionaries, sermons, Bible studies, church resources, concerts, events, videos, and related services.
Registration does not constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation, or verification by FishNet Resources of any individual, ministry, church, organization, product, service, opportunity, or listing.
3. Appropriate Listings and Content
Users agree to submit content that is appropriate for the purpose and community of FishNet Resources.
Listings and account content may not contain:
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or intentionally misleading information
- Illegal products, services, activities, or solicitations
- Pornographic, sexually explicit, obscene, or abusive material
- Hate speech, threats, harassment, or content encouraging violence
- Malicious software, harmful links, spam, or deceptive advertising
- Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or other rights of another party
- Listings unrelated to the general purpose of FishNet Resources
- False employment, fundraising, ministry, business, or financial opportunities
FishNet Resources reserves the right to review, reject, edit, suspend, or remove listings or accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably determine are inappropriate for the website.
4. Christian Community Standards
FishNet Resources serves the broad Christian community. We recognize that Christians, churches, denominations, ministries, and organizations may differ in doctrine, tradition, worship style, and interpretation.
Users are expected to interact respectfully with others.
The appearance of a listing on FishNet Resources should not be interpreted as an endorsement of the theological views, teachings, practices, affiliations, or beliefs of the person or organization submitting it.
5. User Responsibility and Due Diligence
FishNet Resources provides a platform for people and organizations to discover and connect with one another. We do not guarantee the identity, background, qualifications, reputation, theology, financial condition, safety, accuracy, or reliability of users or listings.
Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any employment, volunteer, ministry, business, speaking, performance, educational, purchasing, fundraising, contractual, or other arrangement with another user.
When appropriate, users should independently verify references, credentials, organizations, employment opportunities, products, services, and payment arrangements.
6. Employment and Ministry Opportunities
FishNet Resources may contain job openings, ministry opportunities, resumes, volunteer opportunities, missionary opportunities, and similar listings.
FishNet Resources is not an employer, employment agency, recruiter, or representative of the individuals or organizations posting these opportunities unless expressly stated otherwise.
Employers and organizations are responsible for ensuring that their listings and hiring practices comply with applicable laws.
Applicants are responsible for evaluating opportunities before providing sensitive personal information or accepting employment or ministry positions.
7. Purchases, Services and Transactions
FishNet Resources may allow users to advertise church items, books, artwork, professional services, performances, speaking engagements, or other goods and services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, FishNet Resources is not a party to transactions or agreements made between users.
Buyers and sellers are responsible for determining appropriate payment methods, delivery arrangements, contracts, refunds, taxes, warranties, and other terms of their transactions.
Never send money or sensitive financial information to someone you have not adequately verified.
8. Content You Submit
You retain ownership of content you submit to FishNet Resources.
By submitting listings, photographs, descriptions, logos, videos, or other materials, you confirm that you have the right to use and publish that material.
You grant FishNet Resources permission to display, reproduce, format, resize, and promote submitted content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the website and its listings.
9. Listing Approval and Removal
Submission of a listing does not guarantee publication.
FishNet Resources may moderate listings and reserves the right to reject, modify, categorize, suspend, expire, or remove content when reasonably necessary to maintain the quality, safety, integrity, and purpose of the website.
Repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of an account.
10. Prohibited Account Activity
You may not use FishNet Resources to:
- Collect user information for unauthorized marketing or spam
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account or the website
- Distribute viruses, malicious code, or harmful files
- Manipulate website rankings, reviews, traffic, or other features
- Engage in fraudulent fundraising or financial schemes
- Harass or intimidate other users
- Use automated systems to scrape or harvest website information without authorization
11. No Guarantee of Results
FishNet Resources does not guarantee that a listing will receive inquiries, produce employment, result in a booking, generate sales, attract applicants, create ministry opportunities, or achieve any particular result.
Availability and visibility of listings may change as the website and its services evolve.
12. Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, FishNet Resources and its owners, operators, affiliates, and representatives are not responsible for losses, damages, disputes, injuries, misrepresentations, failed transactions, employment disputes, contractual disagreements, or other consequences resulting from interactions between users or reliance upon user-submitted content.
Users participate in the FishNet Resources community and communicate or transact with other users at their own discretion and risk.
13. Reporting a Listing or User
If you believe a listing is fraudulent, inappropriate, misleading, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Registration Terms, please contact FishNet Resources so the matter can be reviewed.
We appreciate the community’s help in keeping FishNet Resources useful, respectful, and trustworthy.
14. Account Suspension or Termination
FishNet Resources reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Registration Terms, misuse the website, threaten the safety or integrity of the community, or repeatedly submit inappropriate content.
15. Changes to These Terms
These Registration Terms may be updated periodically as FishNet Resources grows or its services change.
Continued use of the website after updated terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
16. Acceptance of Registration Terms
By registering for an account, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Registration Terms.
Our goal is simple: to provide a useful place where members of the Christian community can connect, share resources, discover opportunities, and help one another in service, creativity, ministry, and faith.
